Hi! Welcome to our website and, more importantly, our inaugural blog. We're thrilled about being able to launch Dreamspace, a new creative web design agency, and we can't wait to start growing the business, our web portfolio, client base and accomplishments.
Indulge me, and allow me to be un-British for a moment. We have an outstandingly creative and talented team. Plus, our experience, along with our brand, creative and technical knowledge is second to none. And, in the near future, we plan to blow people's minds and showcase this.
To demonstrate this initially, we plan to use our blog and social channels to provide the industry - peers, customers and partners - an update on key developments at Dreamspace and, more importantly, to share our pragmatic, yet passionate insights on the state of web design.
Before we do this, we need to answer the question that pops into people's heads whenever a creative web design agency launches. Does the UK really need another web design/UX agency? I mean: really?
Truth be told, on paper, maybe not - but, this needs to be couched against the fact that creativity as a process and output is subjective, and that not many agencies do it with business outcomes in mind. Sure, there's award winning creative work, but how measurable were the outcomes in the long term and will the site stand the test of time?
The nature of the market is constantly evolving too, thanks to developments in web-based technologies. Digital and data-driven marketing is prolific; as is the rise of mobility and apps; IoT adoption increases slowly; gamification grows; developments in augmented/virtual reality are growing; as well as the ever changing demands for web security and so on. These trends drive an unprecedented rate of change that is challenging for brands to grapple with.
We want to provide our expert take on how we believe web projects should be implemented - creatively and technically - based on years of experience, coupled with an undeniable passion for designing and building great web applications/websites, to meet brands' needs.
Yes. There are plenty of agencies. But, none that provide passionate, creative, empathetic and technical consultancy and implementation. This is what we are great at. It's what we love doing. Moreover, we have come to realise and appreciate, that we are an understated, down-to-earth bunch, who have an innate ability to communicate and work well with brands - be it in the boardroom or down the pub. We know what works and how to get the best client outcomes.
So, to sum up - does the UK need another agency? Yes. It does. It needs one that is in touch with the creative, technology and design needs of the market. Also, one that comprises grounded, intelligent, empathetic, articulate and personable individuals and partners. And, importantly, it needs a 'Dreamspace' that can deliver the job brilliantly, as well as on time and on budget.
